Lambigit as part of the Centrist Democratic Movement (now a Centrist Democratic Party of the Philippines) throughout the Philippines provides a venue for involvement of the young professionals throughout the Northern Mindanao area.
It is the first assembly of a nationwide Centrist Democratic Movement which was convened by the Kondrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS), with its Philippine Representative, Dr. Peter Koppinger and the Chairman of Technical Assistance for Communicty Development of Rural and Urban Poor (TACDRUP), the National Convenor of CDM, Mr.Lito Monico C. Lorenzana.
