Centrist Democratic Movement (CDM) Lambigit Assembly in Northern Mindanao upon the initiative of the CDM Lambigit Council headed by the its Regional Chairperson, Roderico Y. Dumaug, Jr. conducted a Regional Activity for the first time after the 1st Regional Assembly which it entitled "Young Professional’s Colloquium on Regional Governance and Local Empowerment"   at the Dynasty Court Hotel, Cagayan de Oro City which started at 1:00 in the afternoon and ended at 6:00 in the afternoon.


The occasion was attended by the CDM National Conveners, Kondrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS) Country Representative, Dr. Peter Koeppinger, along with KAS intern Christian Slyzko and the TACDRUP Chairman, Mr. Lito Monico C. Lorenzana and supported by the CDM Mindanao Coordinator, April Jhim dela Cruz.

 



 The topic "Subsidiarity: A Guiding Principle for the Young Professionals towards Regional Development" was discussed eloquently by Mr.Lito Monico C.Lorenzana. The topic is a deepening process on the principle of subsidiarity through simple approach on understanding this novel principle in Philippine context and an inspiring call by enumerating its significant features and serve as guideposts for the young professionals, as the country’s valuable successor generation, in applying the concept to their respective sphere of influence.   



 The Regional Chairperson , Roderico Y. Dumaug, Jr. likewise shared the speech he delivered in Makati during a book launching upon the invitation of KAS. The topic was about the essence of subsidiarity and its practical application in Northern Mindanao. An open forum thereafter ensued showing the interest of the participants therein to become active agents of change.
